Roles & Responsibilities:

Coordinate staff clinical training needs; conduct needs assessment to define training
needs; develop educational materials; conduct training sessions; and evaluate the
effectiveness of the training in support of department objectives.

needs; develop educational materials; conduct training sessions; and evaluate the
effectiveness of the training in support of department objectives.
2. 2. Develop, implement and evaluate educational programs to meet specialized needs;
acquire educational programs that are cost effective for continuing education needs;
review contracts for affiliate school programs.
3. 4. Prepare and present lectures to Medical Center employees regarding department
procedures and techniques; prepare laboratories if appropriate; evaluate and maintain records of performance, competence and attendance.
4. 5. Provide courses for supervisors on teaching methods; observe preceptors performing
clinical instruction and ensure compliance with policy.

 

Requirements:

NYS RT with Bachelor’s degree in RT or health science; Master’s preferred 
3+ years relevant clinical experience with some supervisory
