Roles & Responsibilities:
- Position: Visiting postdoctoral fellowship in environmental exposure assessment, epidemiology, environmental medicine, public health, or related fields
Employment Type: Full Time, 4-months Start Date: Spring 2020
Job Description: We seek candidates who have completed doctoral training in environmental epidemiology, public health or related fields to participate in research focusing on the metabolic effects of exposure to environmental chemicals linked to NIH-funded projects (e.g., R21ES029328). Candidate’s main responsibilities include the conduct of statistical data analysis, and first author /co-author responsibility for the preparation of manuscripts and other scientific reports.
Training opportunities: Candidate will work with an experienced, dedicated mentor in a stimulating and supportive research environment. The postdoctoral fellow will receive:
· Mentorship and training in environmental health sciences
· Mentorship in career development
· Formal and informal training in writing scientific papers and grant proposals
· Opportunity to mentor and teach master’s degree students
· Opportunities to attend and present at Departmental seminars and professional conferences will be provided.
