Roles & Responsibilities:
  • A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately in NIH funded neuro-oncology group in the Department of Oncological Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York. 
    Our laboratory is seeking highly motivated, talented, and enthusiastic people with interest in contributing to further understanding of whereby the immune microenvironment of the brain contributes to tumorigenesis and response to therapy.

  • Successful candidates must have an MD, a Ph.D., or an MD-PhD degree. A strong background in immunology is required. Although not required, but the experience in neuroscience, genetics, genomics, or mouse models of cancer is preferred. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and critical thinking abilities.

    Most importantly, the candidate should be dedicated to building a career in this field. At least two peer-reviewed first author publications from Ph.D. are required. Applicants will have the opportunity to interact with several brain tumor groups within the Department Oncological Sciences, Neurosurgery, and Precision Immunology Institute at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine.
