Roles & Responsibilities:

The Center of Cancer Prevention and Wellness is a groundbreaking program, hiring for 3 Physician Assistants. The unique role allows the PA to act as a front line provider with a forward thinking program. The PA will care for patients with genetic mutations associated with cancers, and their family members. 
With a team approach, the PA will organize and initiate wellness and preventative  care for a diverse population across the NYC area. The PA will partner with geneticists and oncologists to tailor care needs for these patients. 
The Physician Assistant will have the opportunity to be exposed to the following:

  • Community outreach and education
  • Preventative pro-active care vs. re-active care
  • Research and Publishing opportunity

  • Working with a diverse population and wide age range

Graduated from an accredited PA Program

Active New York State License

Active NCCPA Board Certification

Minimum 5 years working as a Physician Assistant in specialty program, preferably in an Academic Medical Center. Prior managerial experience desired.
