Program Manager, Provider Engagement

Within MSHP, the Provider Engagement Team maintains and optimizes the provider network through implementation of strategic initiatives to the provider network of over 3000 physicians.


Role Summary


MSHP seeks a Program Manager, Provider Engagement to support the Provider Engagement team. The Program Manager will help drive and maintain key value-based care initiatives. This role directly reports into the Senior Manager, Practice Improvement, but will also support Sr. Medical Director, Provider Engagement.



·         Generate and distribute regular key quality and other performance reports to practices within the CIN

·         Coordinate with internal departments to validate and complete the CIN foundational provider requirements for CIN physicians

·         Coordinate the logistics of scheduled CIN Pod and practice meetings

·         Assist in research and content creation for pod presentations and discussion documents

·         Generate timely and thorough deliverables for ad hoc practice data and information requests

·         Coordinate and maintain timely communication with practices and pods to facilitate scheduling and organization for in-person meeting

·         Develop content, as necessary, with support, from provider engagement leaders and key clinical leadership including Medical Directors of Physician Engagement

·         Maintain good rapport and relationships with Provider Engagement team, other key MSHP stakeholders, and practice administration, staff and clinical leaders

·         Other duties as assigned



Education and Experience

·         Minimum undergraduate degree required (BA or BS), Master’s degree in applicable area preferred, these include Master’s in Public Health, Master’s in Health Administration, Master’s in Business Administration with healthcare focus

·         Preferred 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in population health management or healthcare administration

·         Project management skills and persistent focus on key business objectives


Additional Skills and Qualities

·         Microsoft suite fluency including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, experience with Tableau

·         Demonstrated analytical experience

·         Strong organizational and writing skills

·         Diligent and strong work ethic

·         Creative problem solver and strong intellectual curiosity

·         Results-oriented with “can-do” attitude

·         Confident and flexible, possesses strong ethics and unwavering integrity, and is passionate about making a difference in healthcare

·         Organized and accountable– meticulous and detail-oriented; consistently meets timelines and objectives

·         Ability to understand a project in detail as well as how it fits into overall strategy
