Roles & Responsibilities:
The Trainee is an entry level position which provides exposure to the health care administrative environment. The Trainee provides basic support to a manager or supervisor as related to the day to day operations office operations, basic data entry, etc. Duties may also include filing, scanning, photocopying and other duties as required.

Employees filling this position are expected to participate in chart review, data collection, and data entry for studies being conducted within the neurosurgery department. They are also expected to assist in coordinating multi-institutional studies, and attend neurosurgical procedures as required by their research responsibilities. They may be asked to interact with study participants under the direction and supervision of the neurosurgical attending. Finally, they are expected to participate fully in all aspects of manuscript preparation, including literature review, data analysis, and manuscript preparation.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or greater depending on department and role.
