What You’ll Do:
 

Responsible for 24 hour accountability of clinical care and fiscal productivity for a designated patient care service area. Responsible for assessing, identifying, planning, implementing and evaluating the processes, technology, personnel, and facility needs required to achieve patient outcomes safely and cost effectively in a patient centered environment. Acts as a member of the patient care service and Leadership Team; collaborates with and guides the interdisciplinary team members in achieving patient outcomes.

 

Bachelors in Nursing and Masters required.  Effective organization skills.  Effective interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills.  Ability to problem solve using critical thinking.  Demonstrates leadership ability. Five years clinical experience including progressive management experience/success.  Current NY State Registered Nurse License and Registration.

 
  • Oversee 7 FTEs comprised of 2 NP's, 2 RN's, and 1 Medical Assistant in in an Outpatient/Ambulatory Radiation Oncology clinic on 59th street.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the unit that offers treatments in Head/Neck, GI, Lungs, Bone, Breast, GU, Brain, Secondary Metastasis, and some Lymphomas.
  • Lead project management assignments
  • Patient experience and quality

What You'll Bring:

  • BSN, required
  • MSN, preferred  
  • Experience in Oncology as a Clinical Nurse with progressive experience in leadership. Secondary career leadership will be considered if nursing leadership experience is not available.
  • NYS RN
