What You’ll Do:
Mount Sinai Brooklyn is a 212-bed hospital located in the residential Midwood community. This is an opportunity for an experienced Nurse Supervisor with demonstrated leadership skills to join our highly regarded management staff. The supervisor is a member of the patient care service Leadership Team and collaborates with and guides the interdisciplinary team members in achieving patient outcomes. This role nourishes the motivation and commitments essential to achieving our mission, goals, standards, policies in a patient centered model of care delivery system.
Accountability for clinical and administrative productivity for the night shift. This position is responsible for the day to day operations, staffing and quality improvements. Responsible for assessing, identifying, implementing personnel & facility needs required to achieve patient outcomes safely and cost effectively in a patient centered environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- Must have a demonstrated track record of participative management, along with the ability to develop staff and excellent interpersonal /communication skills.
- Requires 3-5 years of progressive supervisory experience in a unionized environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Master's degree preferred. Current NY State Registered Nurse license required and CEN.
