What You’ll Do:

·      Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical/technical/service/administrative tasks.

·      Performs phlebotomy and finger sticks; collects specimens.

·      Performs preps and assists with stress testing.

·      Explains and administers Holter monitors to patient as needed.

·      Explains and administers Event recorders to patient as needed.

·      Performs EKG's.

·      Obtains and records Vital signs.

·      Transports patients and specimens as needed.

·      Maintains a clean and organized patient care environment.


What You’ll Bring:
  • Graduate of an accredited Practical Nurse Program. Applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements 
  • Current New York State license/registration.  Current CPR certification.
  • Working familiarity and hands-on experience with computers and computer software. 

  •  Interpersonal skills a must, particularly the ability to listen and absorb in order to determine patient needs. 

  • Ability to counsel patients relative to health care needs and Medical Center and regulatory agency requirements.
