Job Title: Social Worker 

  

Roles & Responsibilities:


Mount Sinai Beth Israel's Department of Social Work is seeking a dynamic social worker for a full time position for the Emergency Department. Experience in crisis intervention, discharge planning, medical social work, victim services and trauma is required. Familiarity with community resources related to substance abuse, homelessness, public benefits and home care needs is required. The social worker is a highly valued member of the interdisciplinary team and is crucial to the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department.  


The shift is 9:00am to 5:15pm Monday through Friday, with some holidays and weekend days.  

 


Requirements:


Spanish language skills are desirable, but not required. 

New York State Social Work license required.
