Per Diem Summer Intern - 75513

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • This position will report into the Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Office of Strategy Management (OSM), which is a division of business services that supports the needs of the hospital’s growth and ensures the timely and effective implementation of a strategic plan. Throughout the internship, the student will be involved in hospital–wide initiatives and exposed to key executive, clinical and operational leaders involved in these projects.

  • The summer intern will gain valuable experience in project management by assisting in the general planning and facilitation of hospital projects. For example, the intern may contribute to the development of meeting agendas, presentations, and formal meeting notes.  Under the direction of his/her supervisor, the intern may also support work in other hospital departments, including Nursing Administration, Patient Experience and Labor Relations. 


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Attention to detail

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
