Job Title: Per Diem Research Assistant



Roles & Responsibilities:


A. Clinical/Technical/Service

Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical/technical/service/administrative tasks:

·         Collaborates with Principal Investigators on research projects..

·         Participates in the recruitment and enrollment of clinical/research study subjects.

·         Conducts screenings and interviews and prepares assessments.

·         Coordinates patient visits and all related activities, including travel arrangements

·         Organizes and maintains all documents and materials related to research studies

·         Draws blood (training provided) and processes biological samples for research

·         Data entry and maintaining database  

·         Orders and maintains supplies for research studies.

·         Ships research materials to collaborating research sites

·         Handles and protects confidential and sensitive data.

·         Usually requires one or two weekend days per month

·         May be required to perform other duties as assigned.


B. Organizational/Managerial

·         Participates in the department’s performance improvement activities.

·         Maintains patient/employee confidentiality in the management of information.

·         Observes the Health Care System’s compliance policies.

·         Demonstrates excellent organizational skills.


C. Educational/Professional Development

·         Meets regulatory, licensure and annual health assessment requirements.

·         Identifies learning strengths and needs.

·         Applies professional knowledge, skills, and training to work environment.


D. Communication/Relationships

·         Demonstrates a professional attitude in dealing with patients, staff and the community.

·         Creates and supports a productive and efficient work environment.

·         Communications and collaborates well with others..



·         Bachelor’s Degree.
