Chief Physicians Assistant - OTOLARYNGOLOGY -
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performs physical examinations and gather historical information as designated
- Formulates diagnosis and treatment plans with accuracy
- Appropriately document orders and procedures
- Consistently address diagnostic problem while charting
- Regularly consults with Attending M.D. for patient management guidance
The Chief Physician Assistant will have 5 or more years of experience in a leadership role and no less than 2 years as a medicine trained Physician Assistant. The P.A. will be chosen for the position by a committee composed of the Chief of Service, and his Attending M.D.s
Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant training program and current New York State registration. Basic Life Support or Advance Life Support.
