Mount Sinai St. Luke's (Amsterdam Avenue and 114th Street) is in need of a Nurse Manager for the operating room suite. Our operating room is open 24/7, 365 days a year. There are no elective surgeries offered on the weekend or holidays. 


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administrative and operational duties of a 12 room OR suite with 57 staff members made up of RNs, Technicians, and Support. The operating room offers services in Bariatric (excellence center), Endocrine, Neuro, Orthopedic/Sports, General, Minimally invasive and Robotic Procedures (Open heart and Colorectal, Oncology, and Thoracic procedures), Vascular and Endovascular surgeries. 
  • Responsible for staff engagement, competencies, hiring/terminations, disciplinary actions, and other personnel related duties
  • Responsible for patient experience/satisfaction, QI/QA, PI projects as necessary


  • BSN, required
  • MSN (earned or enrolled will be strongly considered)
  • NYS RN
  • 5 years of operating room experience
  • 3-5 years as a nursing manager or supervisor (Assistant Nurse Managers included)
  • BLS, required
  • CNOR, preferred
