Job Title: Value Analysis Coordinator
Roles & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, the Value Analysis Coordinator will be responsible for the administrative and coordination duties for the Value Analysis Team, including active involvement in teleconferences, videoconferences and all related Value Analysis meetings. The Coordinator will perform a variety of group efforts and tasks relative to the Value Analysis Team, such as timely and accurate preparation and organization of all meeting and teleconference logistics.
Assist Director in planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising and reviewing the work of staff
responsible for providing Value Analysis support.
Provide accurate and timely reports as requested by the VP/ Senior Director/Value Analysis team.
Prepare, review and verify a variety of documents, forms, analysis and reports for the Value
Analysis team including PowerPoint Presentations for Committee Meetings.
Assist in the preparation of the Value Analysis Performance Measures and goals; monitor
progress, requirements and track information for Performance Measurements and goals.
Responsible for arranging, coordinating and communicating all Value Analysis related calls and
meetings to include dates, times, sites, locations, space, telecommunication requirements, etc.
Notify teams/department chairmen.
Attend all meetings/teleconferences, take attendance, and provide accurate meeting minutes;
develop power point presentations and spreadsheets in a timely manner for review and approval
by Value Analysis team/Director.
Develop/maintain accurate and current Value Analysis contact spreadsheet(s).
Accountable for accurate and current maintenance of Value Analysis team calendars.
Responsible for accurate, current and timely Value Analysis newsletter publication/distribution
and Intranet submission with all supply chain initiatives.
Assist Value Analysis team with internet research, literature research, white papers and source
Supervise and participate in providing accurate internal information to the vendors and other
Coordinate and check meeting packages for content and standardization; finalize meeting
packages prior to distribution.
Assist team with organizing and synchronizing vendor product trials, conversions and
In collaboration with stakeholders, organize in-services.
Provide administrative support to Senior Director and other staff in the completion of their duties and
responsibilities; provide training and direction to staff as needed.
Assist Senior Director with daily office operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred
2 years of knowledge of healthcare value analysis purchasing methods, process and procedures, as well as
organization, confidentiality and operating details of a value analysis program.
Understanding of operations, services and activities of a supply chain program.
Principles of team work, training and performance evaluation.
Familiarity with pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications and Internet Explorer.
Strong project management, writing and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to coordinate the organization, staffing and operational activities for supply chain
in an efficient manner
