Music Therapist - Part Time
 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

The Music Therapist assesses individuals referred for music therapy to determine treatment planning. Provides treatment team with social/emotional perspective based on assessment. 

  • Oncology adult patient population receiving 1:1 and family sessions
  • Music therapy for adults receiving follow up care
  • Music therapy protocol for radiation and chemotherapy
  • Environmental Music Therapy on Oncology Units
  • Procedural music therapy for pain, pre-surgery and procedures
  • Medical Intensive Care Unit adults
Requirements:
  • Master’s Degree in Music therapy or Creative Arts Therapy
  • Three or more years’ experience preferably in a medical setting with children
  • Supervisor experience of interns and/or fieldwork students preferred
