Mount Sinai St. Luke's (114th street and Amsterdam Avenue NYC) is in need of a Director of Nursing for Psychiatry to oversee the operational and administration duties of the CPEP, Adult Psych, and Child Psych units. In addition, with have oversight to the offshift hospital administrators (house supervisors) for the evenings and nights. The Director of Nursing will also support the implementation of the mission, vision, goals and objectives of the department, throughout the clinical service and individual patient care units. This position reports into the Chief Nursing Officer.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee the operational and administrative of a psychiatry unit comprised of CPEP, Adult Psych, and Child/Adolescent Psych services with a combined 41 beds.
- Lead and facilitate the quality and performance improvement of psychiatry and hospital administrators.
- Other projects/duties as necessary
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor Science in Nursing - BSN Required
- MSN, required
- Doctorate of Nursing, preferred
- NYS RN
- Prior experience, 5-7 years, with psychiatry on the bedside with progressive leadership experience as a Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing
