Job Title: Ambulatory Care Service Representative
Roles & Responsibilities: 
  • Greets and registers patients, prepares and processes appropriate forms, directs patients to appropriate areas

  • Performs miscellaneous clerical duties such as collecting data, filing, batching encounter forms etc

  • Performs a complete registration of patient financial and demographic information in the Eagle System.Responsibility for the integrity of the data

  • Interviews new patients in a timely fashion. Obtains demographics, insurance and payment information

  • Verifies patient information each time the patient presents to the clinic to insure that system data is accurate

  • Verifies Medicaid eligibility, HMO and managed care status and insurance listings via Eagle System

  • Collects co-payments as required

  • Requests and prep medical record chart for patient visit. Files appropriate forms in charts
  • Coordinates with medical records to obtain assignment of block numbers for new patients


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of English and Spanish preferred.
  • Prior experience in a patient/customer oriented environment.
  • Ability to perform multi-tasked roles and work in a fast paced environment.
