Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • A Bachelor's level degree (or equivalent) is strongly preferred, an advanced degree is highly desirable

    * Minimum five years of experience with healthcare provider or payer or clinical research

    * Must be proficient with SQL, preferably on Oracle 10g+

    * Must have exposure to clinical data, HL7 messages, clinical ontologies like ICD-9, CPT-4 etc.

    * Requires excellent analytical ability and must have handled variety of clinical data sets

    * Exposure with data warehouse and its constructs like data marts is desirable

    * Strong knowledge of database structures (entity-relationship), reverse engineering is a must

    * Exposure of any BI reporting tools like OBIEE, MS-SRS, Information Builder, Tableau etc.

    * Excellent written and oral communication are required

    * Must understand system development process and have solid understanding of business processes

    * Should be proactive in taking initiatives and being self-sufficient in delivering outcomes

    * Ability to quickly adapt new tools and changes in technology
