  • Provide nursing care to a specific group of patient is requiring hemodialysis during their hospital stay. 
  • Applicants should have excellent Fistula and Graft access skills; and, be familiar & competent with the different types of vascular access devices used in the acute hospital setting.  
  • Provide professional nursing care to critical patients. Medication administration and documentation.  
  • Utilize the nursing process in all aspects of care delivery. 
  •  Ability to interpret and treat arrhythmias per ACLS protocol, intervene in cardiac arrest, pain management and management of complications of diseases.


  • Current NYS License – RN – Dialysis experience required, Minimum 2 years of acute hemodialysis experience preferred.
  • Certification (CNN) and BCLS required, ACLS preferred, Previous ICU / ER experience preferred
  • Critical thinking and excellent communication skills required.
