Biomed Equipment Specialist- Biomedical Engineering- Requisition #83068

Job Summary 

Maintains, adjusts, calibrates, and cleans equipment as needed. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical, technical, service, and administrative tasks.
  • Performs preventive maintenance procedures using written and verbal protocols.
  • Competently uses electronic test equipment, tools and soldering equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs electronic and electro-mechanical equipment to the board level.
  • Accurately documents all work performed using the Biomedical Engineering Equipment Management Computer System.
  • Maintains all documentation in a quality fashion and completes it in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as needed.

Education Requirements:

Associate degree preferred. Equivalent work experience acceptable

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Office   - Beginner 

General Skills and Competencies:
  • Must be able to use small hand and power tools, soldering equipment, and electronic test equipment.
