Role & Responsibilities:


Provide nursing care to a specific group of patient is requiring hemodialysis during their hospital stay. Applicants should have excellent Fistula and Graft access skills; and, be familiar & competent with the different types of vascular access devices used in the acute hospital setting.  Provide professional nursing care to critical patients. Medication administration and documentation.  Utilize the nursing process in all aspects of care delivery.  Ability to interpret and treat arrhythmias per ACLS protocol, intervene in cardiac arrest, pain management and management of complications of diseases.



  • Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing preferre
  • Current NYS License – RN – Dialysis experience required, Minimum 2 years of acute hemodialysis experience required preferred.
  • Certification (CNN) and BCLS required, ACLS preferred, Previous ICU / ER experience preferred
  • Critical thinking and excellent communication skills required.
