Administrative Psychiatrist Positions at Mount Sinai St. Luke's and West!
With our expanding services, we are currently seeking highly motivated, forward-thinking, and team-oriented psychiatrists for several positions at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West. Our services include ambulatory adult and child services (over 100,000 visits yearly), inpatient services with 110 beds (adult, child and geriatric), the Addiction Institute (including inpatient, outpatient and opioid treatment components), and a number of specialized programs. We are a major teaching site with a general psychiatry residency, addiction and psychosomatic fellowships, and a large psychology training program.
We currently have a CPEP Medical Director position available. This position involves oversight of the faculty, staff and trainees working in two CPEPs, one located at Mt. Sinai St. Lukes, and the second at Mt. Sinai West. Additional responsibilities include a limited number of CPEP shifts and oversight of the mobile crisis team and the extended observation beds.
Acute Care Associate Director Given our large inpatient service, we are creating a new position for a psychiatrist that combines limited inpatient clinical responsibilities at the Mount Sinai West campus, with administrative duties supporting the Acute Care Division Chief.
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai offers highly competitive remuneration packages, along with an opportunity to join our world-class organization. Qualifications for Assistant Professor or higher level are required, and faculty appointments are commensurate with experience.
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai includes a vibrant community of psychiatric clinicians, researchers, educators, and trainees committed to discovering the causes of, and better treatments for, mental disorders. The Mount Sinai Behavioral Health System encompasses the clinical psychiatric services at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, Mount Sinai Hospital, Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Mount Sinai West. This combined entity has over 400 inpatient behavioral health beds and a robust clinical ambulatory platform with over 1 million visits in 2015. Our vision is to be the premier provider of behavioral health services through the development and delivery of evidence-based, integrated, and cost-effective models of care across populations with mental health/substance use disorders.
