Job Description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine is expanding.  We currently employ about 125 faculty and perform 98,000 anesthetics a year.  We are seeking highly motivated, qualified  and energetic persons for several positons in the Mount Sinai Health System that includes our coverage of the Mount Sinai Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital Queens, Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital, as well as office based locations and ASCs. We are specifically looking for general Anesthesiologists comfortable taking care of a wide variety of patients, many of whom are ASA 3 and ASA 4. Anesthesiologists with sub specialization interested in potentially joining our Department will be considered as our specific needs arise and we welcome your interest too.   All positions require board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology, a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team- oriented, performance -driven Department.
