Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking a Part-time and Per Diem Emergency Medicine physician to join its practice in Long Island. The practice is located at One Healthy Way, Oceanside, NY 11572 in a diverse community with excellent school districts and numerous cultural activities. Mount Sinai South Nassau will be joining the Mount Sinai Health Care System and will be developing and expanding emergency medicine services. Mount Sinai South Nassau provides, critical emergency care to 65,000+ patients each year in our Oceanside and 10,000+ in our Long Beach facilities with its Newly Certified Level ll Trauma Center.
We are the area's leading center of specialized care for both emergency and urgent care, including an impressive number of medical conditions. We're one of the few hospitals in New York with an Emergency Department staffed by a team of physicians who are board-certified and residency-trained in the specialized field of emergency medicine. And our emergency and urgent care providers have earned a solid reputation for developing and implementing innovations in emergency services, to care for people with a range of conditions in two facilities: An Emergency Department with a Level II Trauma Center plus other specialized services at Mount Sinai South Nassau and a Freestanding Emergency Department at Long Beach.
