Full Time and Per Diem Psychiatrists needed for South Nassau Communities Hospital in Baldwin and Hempstead, NY!

We are currently seeking community based, team oriented psychiatrists for our outpatient practices in Baldwin and Hempstead, NY. 
South Nassau Communities Hospital is the premier behavioral health provider in Nassau County offering treatment to community members struggling with trauma, medical illnesses and a wide variety of mental health and substance use disorders. Be part of our expanding service that now includes integrated behavioral health and primary care and provides over 50,000 sessions every year to our community members. 
We are currently seeking Board-Certified Board Eligible, NYS Licensed Psychiatrists. Previous Outpatient Behavioral Health experience is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities include evaluation of pediatric and adult patients with a broad range of mental illnesses, providing high quality evidenced based care and close collaboration with the entire treatment team.  In addition, the psychiatrist provides team leadership, crisis management, instruction and mentoring to medical students and participates in hospital wide quality improvement programs.
