OTP Psychiatry Physicians in Manhattan and Brooklyn!

Job Description

The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time OTP physicians to join locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Locations are at the Vincent Dole Clinic on 25 12th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215, and another physician for the OTPs in Manhattan which are located near MSBI and also uptown on both East and West 125th Street. These clinics are the front line in the battle against the Opioid Overdose Epidemic. There is one doctor per clinic, but some sites have multiple clinics and multiple doctors serving these patients. Addiction Medicine and Addiction Psychiatry specialists work together to provide traditional OTP services and some also provide primary care services and psychiatric care. Additionally, the site has a comprehensive support team, including PAs, nurses, and counselors. 
The chosen candidate will become part of the Mount Sinai OTP system in either Manhattan or Brooklyn serving diverse communities. The candidate will use skills as a physician, addictionologist, teacher, and team leader. The physician will be responsible for leading a team of counselors, nurses, physician assistants and social workers, all working to reduce the harm of addition to our patients. Teaching and research responsibilities are encouraged, but not required. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

  • Outpatient clinic, 7am-3pm Monday-Friday

  • Call schedule example: About once per month, phone only

  • Administrative responsibilities as the physician is the team leader
  • Teaching and research responsibilities are encouraged, but not required

Position Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
