Development Systems Coordinator 
 
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Development Systems and working closely with the Assistant Director of Data and Systems Project Management, the Development Systems Coordinator assists with systems and application migration, implementation, maintenance, training, and end-user supports, and plays a key role in ensuring the data synchronizations across various business applications are facilitated accordingly.

Roles & Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with the technical implementation and training, participate in user testing, and provide on-going end-user support, troubleshooting, and knowledgebase documentation for a portfolio of new and existing standalone business applications and information systems, and shared application platforms including but not limited to Raiser’s Edge, Luminate Online, SharePoint, Tableau Server, SAP Business Intelligence platform, Papersave and Smartsheets
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot any technical outage issues; coordinate with internal IT to perform regular upgrades and updates
  • Facilitate data exchange and synchronization between Raiser’s Edge and other information systems, such as Luminate Online, to ensure online fundraising, gift processing, and email communications are operationally efficient
  • Generate, refresh, and distribute master suppression lists on a regular frequency to ensure HIPAA opt-out CAN-SPAM act compliance
  • Approve pending email communication, online donation and event registration forms to ensure that they adhere to the policies and standards as established by Advancement Services
  • Carryout one-time and recurring data cleanup and maintenance projects
  • Provide backup to and perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Development Systems
   
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience/education required.
  • 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a nonprofit development office environment
  • Experience working with vendors and end-users for technical support and trouble-shooting
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a team
    Must have a strong customer service orientation
